- Thousands of children initiated into the world of letters on Vidyarambham today at temples, libraries and various other places across Kerala.
- The Kerala High Court directs Additional DGP, Crime Branch, to take steps to submit the final report in three months in a case relating to assault on police driver Gavaskar by the daughter of retired DGP (Prisons) Sudheeh Kumar. The court passed the order on a petition filed by the police driver, alleging the crime branch is deliberately delaying filing the final report in a case registered in 2018 due to interference from higher officials.The IPS officer retired in November 2022.
- As many as 3000 delegates to attend key meeting of Syrian Jacobite Church Association at Puthen Cruz in Ernakulam to elect the church secretary and trustees.
- The Greater Cochin Development Authority to review its decision banning entry to Marine Drive walkway after 10 p.m. on Thursday. The Authority had banned the access to the area stating that anti social activities were taking place in the walkway during night hours. Incidentally, the city police had arrested a few persons from the walkway the other day on charges of drug peddling.
