Top Gear's Paddy McGuinness confident Freddie Flintoff will bounce back after crash

Paddy McGuinness has revealed the tremendous support given to Freddie Flintoff as the legendary cricketer recovers from a crash on the Top Gear test track. The Liverpool Echo reported how actor McGuinness took to Instagram to reveal that his co-host on the hit BBC show is recovering, sharing a snap of the two alongside the caption: "Had so many well wishes and positivity for the big lad this last few days."

Flintoff was taken to hospital after he was involved while filming for the show. McGuinness was also on the track when the accident, which is being investigated by the BBC, occurred.

McGuinness added: "@aflintoff11 is loved and will be up and at um before you know it! The three of us are back this Sunday with more new @topgear including a trip to Italy, best family cars and our very own postal service! Obviously we filmed this ep earlier in the year."

Fans flooded the comments to issue messages of support after McGuinness's update. Adrian said: "Get well soon Freddie", while Daniel added: "All the best Freddie."

Scott commented : "Hope Freddie gets well soon" and Jacqueline posted: "Wishing Freddie all the very best with his recovery….."
