Top Gear's Chris Harris refuses to watch Harry & Meghan series and calls them 'cretins'

Top Gear star Chris Harris felt a little frustrated as he scrolled through his Netflix and refused to watch the new Harry & Meghan documentary series.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a tell-all series on the streaming platform to mixed reviews.

The latest episodes dropped on the platform recently and Chris wasn't too happy seeing the show on the trending section as he scrolled through Netflix.

"Just working out what to watch tonight," he told followers on his Instagram Stories.

"Other streaming services are available. But I won't be watching this pair of absolute cretins," he said as he hovered over the icon for the couple's doc.

In the documentary, viewers got an inside glimpse at their family life in Los Angeles as well as stories about their first date and marriage.

They also dived into the racism claims made against the royal family as well as Meghan's suicidal thoughts.

In heartbreaking scenes, she said: "I was like, 'All of this will stop if I'm not here'. And that was the scariest thing about it. It was just clear thinking."

Mum Doria Ragland is seen wiping away tears, while Prince Harry admits he "hated himself" because he "didn't deal with it particularly well".

Meghan claims she wanted to go to a place to get help during her mental health struggles, but "wasn't allowed" because of "how that would look for the institution".

Harry claims he was "devastated" at not being able to protect his wife while she was having suicidal thoughts.

"I knew that she was struggling, we were both struggling. But I never thought it would get to that stage," he says.

"And the fact that it got to that stage I felt angry and ashamed. I didn't deal with it particularly well. I dealt with it as institutional Harry, not husband Harry.

Meghan's showbiz pals have rallied round her in the wake of Harry & Meghan, with long-time pal Serena Williams also praising her.

Tennis pro Serena was a guest at Meghan and Harry's wedding in 2018, which was watched by millions around the world.

Speaking abut the Suits star's big day, Serena said: “To have her culture represented at that wedding. Amazing, I loved it. I thought it was really courageous breaking boundaries but not trying to."
