Justin Tucker is considered by many to be the most outstanding placekicker in NFL history. Statistically, he is the most accurate kicker in league history.
However, nine massage therapists have accused him of sexual misconduct, and these off-the-field issues (pardon the euphemism) cloud his future with the club.
Tucker is also coming off his worst season as a pro, so there are plenty of on-the-field reasons for Baltimore to move on from him. If the Ravens decide to take that action, here are four potential free-agent replacements.
Nick Folk, Tennessee Titans
He may be 40, but he’s still got it, as he went 21 of 22 this season, including a perfect 6-6 from 50 yards+. That 95% FG accuracy this past season was no fluke either, as his FG% in 2023 was 96%
Eddy Pineiro, Carolina PANTHERS
Going 22 of 26 this past season, Pinieiro is reliable. Coming off a two-year, $4.1 million deal, the Ravens could probably pick ’em up at a good value, too.
Matt Prater, Arizona Cardinals
He’s had a solid, consistent career, but at 41, he’s coming off a torn meniscus. Still, Prater was accurate to 85% in the last season he kicked. There are worse options, but then again, there are probably some better options.
Brandon McManus, Green Bay Packers
The 34-year-old seems to be aging like fine wine, as his FGM percentage has steadily increased over the past three seasons.
However, given what’s going on with Tucker, signing McManus could be a bad look. McManus was accused of sexual assault in May 2024 by two flight attendants on the Jaguars’ team flight from Jacksonville to London.
