Top fashion moments at Premios Juventud 2024: best and worst dressed latin stars

The red carpet at the 2024 Premios Juventud was an explosion of creativity, where most celebrities attempted, with varying degrees of success, to find unique and daring outfits that represented the spirit of Univision's awards. Stars like Anitta, Prince Royce, Wisin, Los Tigres del Norte, Lele Pons, Ivy Queen, and many more gathered at the Choliseo in Puerto Rico. Some showcased the best, while others displayed the worst of fashion. There were more fails than slays. The sad part was that it wasn't for lack of effort, just weird choices.

Let's start with the best dressed. Univision star Jessi Rodríguez, the youngest host of Despierta América, looked like a gold goddess in a beaded short dress, encapsulating the importance of the night while giving it the freshness suitable for an awards show for young people. Jessi co-hosted the "Noche de Estrellas," the pre-show event that featured all the glitz and glamour from the red carpet.

Also sharp was Mexican actor Arap Bethke, one of the hosts of "Noche de Estrellas." His classic and elegant style set him apart on the red carpet, ensuring he was one of the night's best-dressed men. Arap, along with Jessi, Domelipa, and Roberto Hernández, who was also among the best dressed, kept viewers entertained with behind-the-scenes insights and interviews with the stars as they arrived.

Premios Juventud's female hosts, Lele Pons and Clarissa Molina, were twining in metallic mesh sexy dresses, while Primer Impacto Jackie Guerrido made a great impact—pun intended—with her own mesh outfit but in a fiery red. While they stole some breaths, the young Venezuelan influencer Salomé Rivas stole many hearts. She looked adorable in a classic white dress.

A surprising fail among many was Jomari Goyso's sartorial choice for the night. The Univision fashionista walked the Premios Juventud red carpet in a transparent black mesh top paired with black lace pants, a black blazer, and black Converse shoes. While he may have been aiming for a tropical, edgy look, the ensemble did not resonate well with fans on social media.

The outfit's reception was largely negative, with many deeming it a misstep. However, some were willing to "forgive him," given that Goyso arrived last minute in Puerto Rico after attending the high-profile Christian Nodal - Angela Aguilar nuptials. Despite his usual fashion acumen, this look fell flat in the eyes of many viewers.
