This Sunday marks a huge test for the Arizona Cardinals. They managed to get back to .500 with a win over the Panthers last week, but have failed to beat the two good teams they’ve played.
The Eagles pose a great opportunity to advance to 3-2 on the season and be guaranteed to be at least .500 before the return of DeAndre Hopkins.
Philadelphia, of course, will be looking to remain undefeated and start the season 5-0. They have one of the more complete rosters in the NFL and are a tough team to beat. There are question marks about the level of competition they’ve played, however.
Let’s dive into our fantasy football picks for this week so you can enjoy the game and win your Week 5 matchup.

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown
I still see fantasy football questions around social media about whether someone should start Hollywood Brown. His projections are continuously low on the major fantasy football apps despite his consistency.
Brown is a must-start while DeAndre Hopkins remains out and will likely continue to be even when he’s back. He has an average of 18.98 points per game in standard PPR leagues through five weeks.
Hollywood’s performances are impressive when you consider he and Kyler Murray have yet to connect on a long touchdown pass, which was his primary source of points in Baltimore.
His consistency as an intermediate route runner has been a welcome sight for the Cards and his points could skyrocket if they finally connect deep in this one.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore
If you are in need of a last-minute flex option and Moore is available, look no further.
While Moore’s first game back from injury was not what he or the team had hoped, it was his first game returning from an injury and he will hopefully be more settled in this week.
When Moore was healthy at the beginning of last season, he was lighting up opposing defenses. We are expecting him to have a much bigger role this week and shake off the rust from last week.
For those who were starting Greg Dortch off the waiver wire, it is likely time to move to Moore. Dortch’s production was so high because he was taking the role of Moore, who looks to be getting healthier by the week.
Eagles RB Miles Sanders
The Cardinals are coming off a great performance shutting down Christian McCaffrey in Carolina, but you should not shy away from Miles Sanders.
The Cardinals’ defense was partially so good against McCaffrey because of how one-dimensional the Panthers’ offense is and the lack of threats beyond him.
Vance Joseph’s defense will have to be concerned with the threat of Jalen Hurts’ legs, as well as an elite receiver duo in A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith. There will be far more rushing lanes for Sanders this week than CMC had in Week 4.
Sanders was the bell cow last week in a rainy game and had his first true breakout game in the NFL. He had 27 carries for 134 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
