Top 3 statistical performers from Warriors’ loss vs. Lakers

The Golden State Warriors suffered a double-overtime defeat at the hands of LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. The loss leaves the Warriors three games out of the playoff picture in 12th in the Western Conference. The Utah Jazz are 10th.

For the second straight game, the Warriors failed to secure a win in a closely fought contest. Against the Sacramento Kings, a Steph Curry turnover sealed their fate. Against the Lakers, a late-game foul from Draymond Green sent LeBron to the foul line for the game-clinching free throws.

Of course, there has been discussion surrounding the disparity in the Lakers’ attempts at the charity stripe. The Purple and Gold enjoyed 43 attempts from the line compared to the Warriors’ 16. Still, no one can discredit Golden State’s effort. They played hard on both sides of the ball and fought for the win until the final possession.

As such, it’s worth looking at which members of the rotation had the best statistical output for the team. Here are the top three statistical performers from the Warriors in their loss to the Lakers.
