The Golden State Warriors suffered defeat at the hands of the LA Clippers on Saturday (Dec. 2.) Steve Kerr‘s team held a substantial lead throughout the first half but failed to keep pace after halftime, as the Clippers upped their intensity and surged back into the game.
Three members of the Warriors roster scored more than 20 points, and a further two were in double digits. Yet, Golden State’s inability to deal with offensive pressure and to keep their rhythm in the face of physicality ensured the Clippers were able to take control of the game. The loss has seen the Warriors slip to 11th in the Western Conference, giving them an uphill battle to prove they have a championship-caliber roster.
Despite the unflattering result, some members of the rotation did impress and proved they were fighting to help the Warriors turn around a rough stretch. Here are Golden State’s top three statistical performers in their loss to the LA Clippers.
