Dylan Raiola, the top quarterback prospect in the class of 2024, announced on social media that he will attend the University of Georgia. Raiola is the son of former offensive lineman Dominic Raiola, who played in the NFL for 14 years, all with the Lions.
Before committing to Georgia, Raiola also considered Nebraska and USC, among a variety of visits. He also at one point committed to Ohio State, but he de-committed in December and reopened his recruitment.
The 6’3”, 220-pound Raiola completed 64% of his passes for 2,435 yards and 22 touchdowns with just five interceptions for Chandler (Ariz.) High School last season. He recently transferred to Pinnacle High in Phoenix.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart seemed to confirm the news with a simple tweet of his own.

When Raiola reopened his commitment, Nebraska seemed ready to pounce, as new head coach Matt Rhule kept Raiola’s uncle, Donovan, on staff as offensive line coach. Nebraska is also where Dominic played college football from 1998 to ’00.
However, Raiola will pave his own path at Georgia, giving the Bulldogs a big addition to an already stacked roster.
