The Cleveland Browns do not have a first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, so we have to get more creative to get to them when doing a 2023 NFL Mock Draft. They do, however, have two picks in the top 100, so here we mock to that pick in the draft. Wide receiver? Defensive tackle? Pass rusher? The Browns have plenty of directions they could take in the draft.
As a disclaimer, there were no trades completed in this mock draft, even at the top as the Chicago Bears are likely to trade out of the pick. Let’s dive into this top-100 2023 NFL Mock Draft.

Cleveland Browns: WR Tyler Scott, Cincinnati

The Browns have to get more explosive in the passing attack. And as defensive tackles and pass rushers have flown off the board, the value matches the board here. Cincinnati wide receiver Tyler Scott has low 4.3 speed but also has the throttle to pair with it. This makes him more than just a vertical threat but allows him to run a full route tree as well. It does not hurt that he can make dynamic plays after the catch as well.

99
Cleveland Browns: EDGE/LB Nick Herbig, Wisconsin

There are players worth pounding the table for despite being an outlier in size. And Wisconsin pass rusher Nick Herbig is one of those players. Despite being an undersized edge rusher, listed at just 6-foot-2 and 227 pounds, the game of Herbig is not undersized. As the Browns have four linebackers set to hit free agency, Herbig could play SAM linebacker, then pin his ears back in obvious passing situations.
