'Too much' - Contrasting Nottingham Forest predictions made ahead of Leeds United clash

Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes Leeds United will "have a bit too much" for Nottingham Forest to handle when they visit the City Ground tomorrow (Sunday).

Just three points separate the two teams in the Premier League, with Forest in 13th and Leeds currently in 16th place. The teams meet after both strengthened their squads in the January transfer market.

While the general consensus is that it will be a close battle between the two teams, Agbonlahor believes Leeds will win the game. He named their exciting players, new signings and the form of Patrick Bamford as reasons they can pick up three points on the banks of the Trent.

“Leeds will have a bit too much for Nottingham Forest, they have got some exciting players Leeds, new striker, new signings in the window, Bamford is back scoring goals,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT EDGE. “So I’m going to go 2-0 to Leeds.”

Agbonlahor's prediction differs somewhat from his fellow pundits Chris Sutton and Paul Merson, who have both published their predictions ahead of the game. Merson has tipped a 1-1 draw, with Sutton thinking the teams will draw 2-2.
