The Cincinnati Bengals will match up against the San Fransisco 49ers in Week 8 on the road, and the game will be broadcast on CBS Sports at 4:25 with Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson on the call.
Romo has been on the call for a few memorable Bengals games in the past few years, including both AFC Championship games against the Kansas City Chiefs.
He was also in the booth for a late season win over the Chiefs on Jan. 2, 2022, in which Ja’Marr Chase had 11 receptions for 266 yards and three touchdowns, where he broke out his “Chase is on the case” call.
After Romo’s start to his broadcasting career when everyone seemed to love him in the booth, within the past year fans have grown tired of him on the call.
