Tony McGregor parks yacht at Dublin's docklands as he enjoys steak for lunch

Tony McGregor enjoyed a drive up the River Liffey on Thursday before stopping off at a restaurant for lunch.

Conor McGregor's father tucked into a large steak at Ryleigh's Rooftop Grill, which is located in Dublin's docklands.

Tony, who describes himself as an "international yachtsman of leisure", parked up his yacht, named The 188, across from the restauraunt on Thursday afternoon.

Sharing a number of videos and pictures on his Instagram story, Tony wrote: "188 and crew in town. Dropping off for a steak. Best fed crew."

The boat was called "The 188" after the amount in euros from social welfare his UFC star son got, before he became famous.

It was the Notorious’ first boat he bought out of his massive pay packet.

Tony previously revealed that he came close to selling the boat.

He said: “To be honest with you, I was looking at another boat and I did go to view one last year in France but I was pipped to the post on that. I’m happy with the 188. I’m still getting great seasons out of it. I’m still getting great fun and great adventures on it.”

Tony made headlines last weekend when he took aim at Volodymyr Zelensky after the Ukrainian President criticised his son over a picture of the UFC star with Vladimir Putin.

The former two-weight champion met the Russian leader at the 2018 World Cup final in Moscow and gifted Putin a bottle of his Proper 12 Whiskey before posing for a photo with him.

Sharing the image on Instagram, McGregor described Putin as 'one of the greatest leaders of our time', a post which has not aged well following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Mr Zelensky claimed that McGregor is not being supportive of Ukraine, which led to Tony taking to Instagram to fire back at him.

The former two-weight champion's dad mimicked the words from the infamous Academy Awards encounter between Will Smith and Chris Rock earlier in the year and said: "Keep my son's name out yo f***ing mouth."

Tony also shared a number of photos of Putin with famous figures such as US President Joe Biden and U2 frontman Bono without captions.
