Jake Paul has so far enjoyed an unbeaten start to his career in boxing and has forged out a 5-0 record. He has so far beaten AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson and UFC stars Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley but is yet to fight anybody who has previously entered the ring as a boxer.
.He was due to face Tommy Fury in December before the Englishman withdrew due to a rib injury which was compounded by a chest infection. He has however, beaten both UFC stars in Askren and Woodley but former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew has stated that Paul must face a 'boxer' in his next fight in what has been seen as a jibe against the American YouTube star.
"Just a boxer will do," Bellew replied to a tweet from DAZN, asking who the 25-year-old should fight next. It could happen with Fury in the mix as a potential opponent, but the Mirror report that Paul's camp is holding out for a fight against another UFC star and former world champion Nate Diaz.

Paul claims to be one of the biggest stars in the sport of boxing, something which has sparked a passionate response from Bellew in the past. Bellew said on the DAZN Boxing Show. : "First of all, I’ve got no hate or malice towards Jake Paul, crack on, do what you’re doing, it’s great - but in no way shape or form can you claim to carry my sport you absolute f****** muppet, he hasn’t even fought a boxer yet."
Eddie Hearn recently promoted Josh Warrington's world championship win over Kiko Martinez for DAZN and told the platform that he would be open to promoting Paul's next fight. He said: "I’d love to promote it. Anytime you can promote a fight where you can see Jake Paul get chinned would be exciting. Jake Paul just rubs everyone up the wrong way, but I do like what he’s doing.
“People who’ve given so much to boxing, physically, emotionally and mentally, will find what he’s said insulting. I just laugh, but for someone like Tony, who’s dedicated his life to the sport, it doesn’t sit well with those guys. Hopefully, they can bump into each other, and we can see what happens.”
