The nominees for the 76th Tony Awards were announced on Tuesday (2 May).
Lea Michele, the current star of Broadway’s revival of Funny Girl, along with 2022 Tony winner Myles Frost, who won for his portrayal of Michael Jackson in MJ, read the list of nominees during a live stream on the Tony Awards YouTube page.
Some categories were announced earlier on CBS at 8:30am EST.
This year’s 2023 Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose, will take place on 11 June.
