Tommy Tiernan was genuinely starstruck and reduced to tears on his RTE show on Saturday night when his favourite singer Donovan emerged from backstage.
The Scottish singing legend was Tommy's final guest on Saturday night and Tommy couldn't hide his delight when MC Fred Cook announced him to the audience.
The comedian was in complete shock and his heart boke when Donovan sang for him on stage. He visibly has tears in his eyes during the memorable moment.

It was a touching interview with the presenter singing along with the Scottish musician.
Donovan opened up about his long career, falling in love with his wife Linda Lawrence and deciding to step back from music.
However, it was Tommy’s reaction that caught many viewers' attention as they couldn’t get over how starstruck he was.
One person took to social media to say: “I've never seen Tommy so starstruck. It's lovely, he's almost overwhelmed, such genuine reactions.”

There were plenty of Donovan fans blown away that he appeared on The Tommy Tiernan Show.
