Tommy Tiernan enjoyed a weekend boost in ratings as an extra 36,000 viewers tuned in to his RTE One chat show.
But the comedian has received 14 pieces of negative feedback towards his new series across seven episodes – however none of those were formal complaints to RTE.
According to RTE, figures revealed the Navan funnyman enjoyed a "strong performance" in this weekend's rating at the station.

A spokesman for RTE said: “The Tommy Tiernan Show on Saturday 18 Feb had an average audience of 372,000 (Live Plus VOSDAL) on RTÉ One (inc RTÉ One +1) and a 40%share. To date the series has had 409,300 streams on RTÉ Player.
“This series of The Tommy Tiernan Show has received no complaints and has received 14 pieces of negative feedback. That is the total for all 7 episodes.”
It comes after Tommy was suffering a week on week drop in viewers with a massive 62,000 people tuning out of the show last Saturday week.
The actor went from seeing 398,000 tuning in at the start of this month but ratings dropped dramatically to 336,000 on February 11.
On Saturday night, Tommy chatted to Colm O’Rourke, who has taken over as Meath manager.
The former Sunday Game analyst gave a wide-ranging interview, discussing all things from his personal life to coaching the Royals.
Viewers also praised Tiernan for his chat with actor Denise Gough, who told him about her experience with alcohol and drug addiction, saying they were a result of “grooming and abuse” when she was a young teen.
The star of Andor and Under the Banner said acting “saved my life” and although she has been clean and sober for 16 years, she said alcohol and drugs played an important role in her life for a time.
“That little girl needed all the medicines she could get,” she said. “The solution was alcohol and drugs and I'm so grateful that I had them for that length of time.”
She added: “I don't want it to be the thing that defines me but anyone who is looking at me who is in that place — who's closer to that little girl than I — know that it can be okay. It takes work and everything but there's a way out of that and into something so bright.”
She said some of her secondary school teachers were unkind to her and she internalised their criticism, She urged adults to be careful about how they speak to young people.
“Be careful how you speak to children, it becomes their inner voice. My inner voice was really dark and negative and so that's where the alcohol and drugs came in and helped with that.”
