Tommy Tiernan revealed he spent the weekend browsing motorcycles despite swearing he would "never ride again" after a scare on the motorway home four years ago.
The 53-year-old, who swapped his bike for a less powerful moped two years ago, said he spent Saturday morning browsing Harley Davidson's website.
"There's a lovely sound off the Harleys. There's a lovely feeling pulling off," he told his co-hosts on the Tommy, Hector and Laurita podcast.

Known for his passion for motorcycles, the Navan comedian said he misses driving down the Old Dublin Road on a fine day, which he described as "one of the best feelings ever."
"What surprised me is that I thought my bike-riding days were done. One mistake and you are in the bed and breakfast in the sky," he added.
He said he misses riding home from gigs, however, the last time he sat up on a bike on his way home, he swore he would "never ride again" following a near-death experience.
"I finished a gig in the Iveagh Gardens (Dublin) buzzed, had a Red Bull and got up on the motorbike. So I had three sources of adrenaline in me," the father-of-six recalled.
He said he was driving the motorway home to Galway, which he described as "boring" and "horrible" due to a lack of corners.
"I got to the far side of Athlone and all of a sudden, it wasn't a psychological thing of I wanted to crash. I wasn't thinking I would drive into a tree, my mind wasn't gone. It was fine.
"It was a twitch in my body where I wanted to shake the handlebars. I was going, 'what the f**k is this?'" he recalled.
The Saturday night chat show host said his arms wanted to go and he got "really nervous."
After attempting to ride one-handed, he admitted to himself that it wasn't working, so he decided to pull in off the road for a few moments.
"I asked myself, 'what is happening to me?' In hindsight I can say I was full of Red Bull, I was just after a gig and I was on a motorbike. My body was too frazzled.
"I got on the bike again and after a mile it started to happen again," Tommy said.
He turned off on to really windy roads, which he said were fine due to corners.
"But then I had to drive the motorway again from Oranmore to Galway. I was on the verge of tears approaching the clinic. It was so difficult for me to keep my arms steady that I was nearly crying," he said.
After getting home, Tommy got off the bike and swore he would "never do that again."
"What possessed me to want to rattle the bike like that?" he wondered.
