Tommy Tiernan and his co-hosts are taking a five-month long break from their popular podcast.
Tommy, Hector O hEochagain, and Laurita Blewitt posted a video on the podcast's Instagram account this afternoon telling their 49.5k followers that they are "so grateful" for the love the podcast has received over the past two-and-a-half years - but it is time for them to take a break.
The post said: "after 2 and a half years and over 20 million listens we are taking a well-earned break from April 3rd until this coming September."
The video shows the group in a pub with some pints of Guinness as they assure their listeners that they will be back. Tommy said: "we look forward to talking to ye once the kids go back to school." Laurita added: "it's a creative break as they say in the business."
The caption also assured their members only listeners that this will not affect their subscription. The post said: "Current member’s only subscription fees will be paused until we return in September and you will still have access to all of your episodes.
