Tommy Mallet fired back at a vile troll who wrongly accused him of strangling his baby.

The TOWIE star become a dad for the first time when his co-star girlfriend Georgia Kousoulou welcomed their son Brody into the world.

In a happy snap, Tommy posed with his son in his lap and he placed a finger on each side of his cheek while they enjoyed the garden.

The proud dad was forced to hit back at a troll leaving a nasty comment beneath his post on Thursday.

The troll's message read: “You’re strangling your baby lol this is old fashioned winding now no need to hold a baby this way how can air come up I’d it’s all trapped in the scrunched up stomach should be over your shoulder and his digestive system nice and straight.”

Retaliating, Tommy hit back: “My thumb and little finger is either side of he’s cheek… don’t tell me what to do please I’ve got a great midwife and aftercare… keep your comments to yourself.”

Tommy has been sharing glimpses of parenthood with his followers on Instagram.

Initially he captioned the post: "Successful morning, fed Brody, trained, cooked breakfast, opened a amazing department store in a complete new country, now having half hour with little man."

Many followers rushed to gush over the sweet snap on social media.

His baby son is called Brody (tommy_mallet/Instagram)

His celebrity pal Jamie Redknapp shared a string of hearts after his own recent baby news.

Chloe Sims wrote: "Omg."

Among the sea of comments, one wrote: "He's so cute."

"I cannot deal."

"Brody daddy how’s it going mate."

Having now had a baby, Tommy previously told fans his life was "full".

Both Georgia and Tommy left the show that made them famous TOWIE behind to become parents for the first time.

Georgia has very different plans to the TOWIE stars who have brought their kids up on-screen including stars Billie and Sam Faiers on The Mummy Diaries to Ferne McCann on First Time Mum.

Previously, the blonde bombshell revealed she didn't want their children growing up in front of the cameras and on TV.

She told The Sun : "When he’s only a baby I will, but when he’s a bit older I’ll probably rethink it once he goes to nursery because I don’t know if I want him growing up on TV.

"I haven’t made that decision yet, but when they’re babies - they’re fine because they don’t know any different, and they change so much."
