Tommy' Lee's wife Brittany Furlan has revealed that his ex-partner, Heather Locklear, is "the love of his life".
The 36-year-old married Tommy in 2019 after dating for the Mötley Crüe drummer for two years. In an interview with People, she opened up about her husband's dating history and had nothing but praise for his ex, Heather.
Tommy and Heather got married in 1986 and had seven years of marriage together before their divorce in 1995. After the pair split, Tommy admitted to cheating on Heather, claiming that "f***ing with porno stars ruined my marriage."
However, looking back on his time with Heather, Brittany believes that she was the "love of his life," hence why "they're still really good friends."
“She was the love of his life. I see it, because she’s just a fun, sweet, caring, awesome person,” she explained before adding that Tommy himself has confessed to "messing up that relationship" despite being "good friends" today.
“I yell at my husband, I’m like, ‘I can’t believe you cheated on her. She’s so cool,’” Brittany added. “That was a different time. He was 25 years' old, 26 years' old.
"Not to make excuses, but he’s a very different man now from all those years ago. You live and you learn.”
Brittany went on to refer to Heather as "the one that got away" before sharing the details of their unlikely friendship.
The pair met through Tommy and "became close," with Brittany adding that Heather is "just a cool chick all around."
“Heather and I are very close. She’s awesome, I love her," the former Vine star shared. “I think she’s the most kind, down-to-earth person.
Brittany revealed that she "definitely tried" to remain on good terms with Tommy's former partners, but she didn't address the nature of her relationship with his infamous ex, Pamela Anderson, with whom he shares sons Brandon, 27, and Dylan, 25.
