Tommy Fury and Jake Paul settled their rivalry in the ring on Sunday night in a cruiserweight fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hotly-anticipated contest was more than two years in the making with two fights between the pair having previously been cancelled.
The first was as a result of an injury to Fury while the second arranged bout was scrapped when Fury encountered issues when attempting to travel to the USA.
But another agreement was made and the fight is finally taking place at the Diriyah Arena in Riyadh. It was the venue for Anthony Joshua’s victory against Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019.

Both Fury and Paul were defending unbeaten records going into the fight. Fury’s record stood at 8-0-0 with Paul’s at 6-0-0.
Speaking ahead of the fight, the Manchester-born Fury said: “This fight is just going to show that Jake Paul is not a professional boxer and you can't mix YouTube boxing with professional boxing.”
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “Jake doesn't know what's coming to him. If he's been studying my past fights, it's going to be completely different on the night.
“Boxing is about skill and class and this man doesn't have any of it and I have a lot of it, and I'm going to bring him to school on Sunday.”
