Tommy Fury was booed by the Dubai crowd as he laboured through six rounds with late-replacement Roland Lambert on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's clash with YouTuber Deji.
Fury had been due to take on Paul Bamba in a professional bout but the fight was scrapped when Fury weighed in seven pounds heavier than his rival. Bamba refused to fight, leaving the organisers to scramble to find a replacement opponent.
Lambert had knocked out 12 of his opponents and had won 15 of his 17 fights but the clash had to be registered as an exhibition due to the last-minute chaos. As a result, the fight wasn't scored and no winner was declared but Mirror Fighting was on hand to deliver our verdict...
Round 1
Faints aplenty early on and neither man landing much. Jake Paul is providing the most entertainment in the bout, he admits he had no clue he was supposed to be commentating. Nothing of note at all happens in that first round but the edge goes to Fury if there were scores, he landed one or two shots but that one would be tough for the judges.
Tommy Fury 10-9 Roland Lambert
Round 2
Fury lands a decent little combination, which Paul immediately jokes was not that good. There's very little happening thus far, and his rival is going at him from ringside! Fury would be adding to his advantage - if the fight was being scored.
Tommy Fury 10-9 Roland Lambert
Round 3
A little bit more action in this round and Fury does appear to have the advantage. The crowd boo, Fury has a go at Jake, another nothing round that Fury would win if there were scorecards. Rolly gets a decent little left hand in towards the end of the round. There won't be a winner, but honestly if it were a pro bout you could say its 30-30 regardless!
Tommy Fury 10-9 Roland Lambert
Round 4
Fury shows his hand speed early, but it's clear neither guy is going in for the kill here. Decent little right hand from Fury halfway through the round, little double-jab causes Rolly some problems, but the pace is slow here. Another Fury round, we suppose.
Tommy Fury 10-9 Roland Lambert
Round 5
The crowd are booing like crazy, Paul delighting in Fury's uninspired display. I wish there was more to report, but the truly only interesting thing happening is Paul's commentary. Fury would probably have taken that one too.
Tommy Fury 10-9 Roland Lambert
Round 6
Paul fell asleep during the final round, there was a little more action there but nothing much as both men coast through to the end. The best action comes after the final bell as Tommy and Jake go at it over the ropes - and John Fury rips his shirt off to join in...
Tommy Fury 9-10 Roland Lambert
Total: Tommy Fury 59-55 Roland Lambert
