Anthony Taylor has demanded a rematch against Tommy Fury, claiming he offered the Manchester boxer $1.5million (£1.27m) to fight in Dubai on Sunday night.
Taylor - who was defeated by Fury on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley in August 2021 - was fighting on the same card as Fury this evening.
Taylor pair squared off with former Love Island contestant Jack Flincham on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s bout with Deji in the Middle East, with the fight going the distance.

Fury is also fighting on the card but had a late change of opponent with American Paul Bamba pulling out when the Brit came in 7lbs over weight. Fury now takes on Rolly Lambert in an exhibition fight instead but says he came in at the agreed weight to face Bamba all along.
Taylor has now claimed he offered to step in and fight Fury just hours before the event started but the terms were turned down.
“Tommy Fury declined my fight offer three hours before the fight,” Taylor said after his fight against Fincham. “$1.5million, he declined it, he’s a p***y. John Fury, if you’re out there, bring your a*** over here.
“Tommy get your a*** in the gym. I ain’t leaving this ring until I fight Tommy Fury, you’re gonna need security to get me out of this ring.”
Fury has long been linked with fighting Taylor's sparring partner Paul. Speaking about his fight against Bamba on Sunday being scrapped, he said: "One contract was given to Paul Bamba, and one was given to myself. The weight in my contract, I made yesterday. So as far as I'm concerned, I've done my job," said Fury.
"I made weight. Paul Bamba does not want to fight, he never did. I'm here in Dubai, I've got a new opponent and I'm ready to go."
