Tommy Fury has confirmed his fight with Jake Paul after the two have been feuding online for several years.
The 23-year-old became a professional boxer in 2018, shortly before he entered the Love Island Villa, and eventually came second in show with partner Molly-Mae Hague. In December 2018 Tommy won his first professional match and by the time he stole the nation's heart on Love Island in 2019 he had already won two fights.
Tommy’s fight against Jake Paul is set to take place on Sunday, February 26 in Saudi Arabia. This long awaited fight comes after Tommy called Jake out and offered to fight him for free in a bid to settle the ongoing online battle of words between the two.

Tommy Fury said: "Jake Paul’s boxing career ends on February 26th and I can finally move on with mine. Every time I go out right now, everybody asks me about the Jake Paul fight. After this fight is done, everybody will be asking me how it felt to knock Jake Paul out. The world is about to see what happens when a proper boxer faces a YouTuber.
“The way I see this fight, it’s as though I’m cruising down route 66 on my way to fighting for titles and belts and I need to stop off for a bit of fuel, get the job done and then we’re back on the road. It won’t be a long fight. I have been training hard and have the best team around me, Jake Paul makes a lot of noise outside the ring but the only sound we are going to hear in the ring is him hitting the canvas.”
On Twitter, Jake Paul said: "Tommy has no excuses now…Baby’s born. Money’s massive. Immigration no issue. Tyson promises he & Papa will make Tommy retire from boxing & change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber. Tmw I’m coming to London to look at all 3 Fury’s in the eye & shake on that promise."
The tweet has left some fans confused, as Molly Mae and Tommy are yet to officially announce the birth of their first child.
Tommy’s manager, CEO of Alpha Talent Group, Jake Lee said “This has been two years in the making and I’m so glad that we’ve finally got here. Tommy has been working incredibly hard in training and I’m excited to see all that hard work pay off. I’m looking forward to seeing the fight come to fruition, we have every faith that Tommy is going to make it 9-0 and add to his KO tally in emphatic style!”
