Tommy Fury is likely to hand Jake Paul a rematch this summer, with the pair set to meet for a second time after Fury beat the American via a split decision last month.
The fight was closer than many expected, with Fury dominating large periods of the contest but Paul did manage to land some significant blows. The fight at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia went the distance, with eight rounds followed by an amicable aftermath where Fury revealed his willingness to grant Paul a rematch.
According to boxing reporter Mike Coppinger, the rematch clause which Paul had inserted to his fight contract in the event of a defeat will be activated with a fight to take place this summer in July. After the fight, Paul expressed his desire to pursue a rematch with the event having been a resounding commercial success for both fighters.

Immediately in the aftermath of the fight, both confirmed their desire to enter the ring once again with their two-and-a-half year war of words having resulted in an exciting bout. Excitement for the event was high, with Fury having withdrawn from two previous attempts to make the contest in December 2021 and August 2022.
Fury's older brother Tyson spoke last week about his wishes for Tommy to face Paul again with a fight against Logan Paul also touted by the WBC heavyweight champion. He said last week: “Nah, he’ll be headlining now forever. I’d like to see him fight a rematch with Jake Paul and fight Logan, his brother.”
There is no obligation for Fury, 23, to face anyone other than Paul, with his newly acquired WBC cruiserweight ranking set to remain unused until after the rematch clause has been exercised.
