Tommy Fury has missed Jake Paul's deadline as the a fight between the rivals threatens to collapse for a third time.
The feud between Paul and Fury has been ongoing since the start of last year, with the pair unable to actually get in the ring together despite twice having booked bouts. Last December, Fury broke his rib during training camp and was forced to pull out with just two weeks' notice, and in August he was unable to get to America to promote their New York date.
Now, it appears that the YouTube star, who is 6-0 as a professional, could be set to miss out again after he showed no sign of agreeing a deal. Paul said last week that he is prepared to travel to Manchester or London and set a deadline of last night for contracts to be signed. Fury's promoter Frank Warren responded by saying he expected a deal to be struck before Fury set his own deadline while seemingly disowning his own representativee.
His initial tweet on Sunday had read: " Jake Paul, if you want this fight to happen with me and Global Titans in Feb or March in any location decided by GT, we can have the contracts sent by Wednesday." And when Paul didn't respond, he last night added: "NO RESPONSE to my team from Jake Paul in regards to sorting contracts for this fight. My last tweet until I have some communication from your side.
Paul's Most Valuable Promotions responded to Fury indicating that they had been speaking to his team, saying: "Mr. Fury: Frank & George Warren are not your team anymore? Robert Davis is not your counsel? For clarity - MVP has been in daily contact with Queensberry to try and move the fight forward."

Queensberry Promotions have been behind Fury's last two deals to fight Jake, which saw the YouTuber, along with Showtime Boxing in America, foot the bill for two cancelled events. They managed to salvage their December 18 date with an hastily-arranged rematch with Tyron Woodley, but weren't so lucky at Madison Square Garden in August.
Paul had found a new opponent in Hasim Rahman Jr, but the 12-1 heavyweight couldn't get down to cruiserweight and was ultimately pulled from the event less than a week from fight night. No opponent could be found in that short of a timespan, and the event was cancelled.
