Tommy Fury has insisted that he is under no pressure, despite bringing his famous surname into the ring when he fights Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia next month.
The Love Island star, who is 8-0 as a professional boxer, faces Paul, 6-0, in Riyadh on February 26 after years of feuding a number of cancelled fights. And as a member of the famed fighting Fury family, including world heavyweight champion Tyson, top contender Hughie and his dad John, he is expected to perform to a certain level.
However, he reckons that comparisons with his brother Tyson are unfair given that the heavyweight is a generational talent, and he doesn't pay them any heed when he fights. And while the fight is a step up in terms of length and size for Fury, he believes that he will have the better of Paul, who he feels will be under more pressure.
"There's no pressure on me and there never has been while I've been boxing," Fury told BT Sport. "Because I've said to absolutely everybody that's ever interviewed me 'what about the pressure, what about the last name?' Hold on a minute, I'm not Tyson and I'll never be Tyson.
"A Tyson comes along every hundred years and it'll be another hundred years before he comes along again. I'm just trying to be the best version of myself that I can be. My life is already everything I dreamed of right now, even before this fight. So to be sat in this chair with everything that's going on is already a dream come true for me."

And the Brit believes that he has "nothing to lose" in their fight after the YouTuber claimed that he would parlay a win in their fight into world title ambitions. Fury is planning to pursue belts in his own right after this pay-per-view spectacle, but is more realistic about where he is as a fighter.
"At the end of the day I've got nothing to lose, absolutely nothing," Fury continued. "He's the one with the talking and he can beat Canelo Alvarez and Mike Tyson, he can do all that stuff. Look, I'm here and he can't beat me, he's not even good enough to lace my boots up."
However, his family have piled pressure on Fury, telling him that he may have to change his name should he lose. And Tyson even joked that he should stay in Saudi Arabia if the result doesn't go his way, although he's unfazed, adding: "I know my family and quietly we're all laughing in the background because we can't believe how stupid this man's been."
