Tommy Fury and Liam Payne fans are 'screaming' after the pair quashed fight rumours this morning following a teasing poster.
Both Tommy and Liam shared what many fans thought was an announcement that they would face-off in the ring this summer, with both men tweeting an image of them nose-to-nose. While some were excited for the fight, many were disappointed, thinking it would just be an attention grabbing move and make a mockery of the sport.
However, it was confirmed this morning that the poster was actually an announcement that they would both be taking part in this year's Soccer Aid, the charity football match. Liam will join the England team, which he captained last year, and Tommy is joining the World XI team, Manchester Evening News reports.

Tommy is joining a star-studded international team, including captain Usain Bolt, and former striker Robbie Keane as coach. He'll be joined on the pitch by Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett, Love Island winner and presenter Kem Cetinay, comedians Lee Mack, Mo Gilligan, and Maisie Adam.
Liam is joining the England side under captain Jill Scott, and play alongside Paddy McGuinness, Jermain Defoe, Karen Carney, Gary Cahill, Jack Wilshere, Sir Mo Farah, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Chunkz, David James, Scarlette Douglas and Nicky Butt. Emma Hayes and Vicky McClure will co-manage the team while DJ Joel Corry, rapper Bugzy Malone, singer Tom Grennan, Olympian Sir Mo Farah, comedian Alex Brooker, and commentator Eni Aluk also join the England line-up.
Their initial announcement left some fans reeling. Before the twist had been revealed, one person said: "Surely not" and another said: "Boxing had become a joke" while a third said: "But why though".
Luckily, the news this morning has set the record straight and fans now can't wait for the match. One person said: "Screaming crying throwing up because I fully thought they were gonna fight." and another said: "OMG I'M SOO RELIEVED."
One person said: "Omd I thought it was a fight i had a heart attack love them both good luck boys." another said: "And we though you were gonna box." and a third said: "Makes sense now."
