Tommy Fury agrees with Tyson Fury retirement plan after Dillian Whyte fight

Tommy Fury has backed the decision of his half-brother Tyson Fury to retire following his April bout against Dillian Whyte. Tyson defends his WBC heavyweight title against his fellow Brit on April 23rd at Wembley, a bout widely seen as the final hurdle for a unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua.

However, Tyson has proposed a different outcome as he's stated that he will hang up his gloves following his date at the home of English football. That proposal has been questioned but Tommy believes it is the right choice to make as he has nothing left to achieve.

"Yeah, definitely, 100 percent, I would like to see Tyson retire after this one. He's got nothing left to prove, he's won every single professional belt there is," he told ES News. "He beat the man who beat the man and he's beat all the top men out there. He's really got nothing left to prove, so if he wants to walk away 100 per cent definitely."

Tommy is also set to feature on April 23rd with an appearance on the undercard of his sibling's clash against Whyte, but still plans to face Jake Paul.

"That fight I look to see at the end of the year. My plan is to get a good win on this undercard. At the end of the day, Jake Paul knows where it's at. We're onto bigger and better things, I don't know what Jake Paul's doing, but we've just done 100,000 at Wembley. I'm looking to get a good win on the undercard and move on with my career.

"I'm a boxer, I'm not a YouTube boxer or anything like that, I'm a fully-fledged fighting man. Whatever Jake Paul decides to do, he decides to do, I'm not interested."
