Tommy Fury has responded to Jake Paul's 24 hour deadline and is ready to accept a fight this summer.
Fury has been waiting for a rescheduled bout against Paul after being forced to withdraw from their originally planned December date with a broken rib and chest infection. Paul has already announced his return will take place on August 6 with Fury having held extensive talks over finally sharing the ring with his rival.
Paul hit out at Fury on social media issuing a fresh ultimatum about the fight, tweeting: " Tommy Fury, you pulled out last year. Then you agree to fight me now but your dad is trying to pull you out again? We’ve given you everything you asked for. $2 million purse. VADA testing. Tampons. You have 24 hours to clear this up or I will never give you this opportunity again."
Fury has now responded on social media with a short but simple tweet, writing: "See you August 6th pal." Paul later hit back at Fury, tweeting: "Actually we are scheduled to be in New York next week for the kick off press conference and I’m not your pal, buddy."
Paul later produced a lengthy video rant accusing Fury of "fumbling" a second opportunity to touch gloves with the YouTube star. Doubts were cast over a potential bout after Fury's father John appeared to confirm neither him or heavyweight champion Tyson were able to travel to the US for the fight.
It was widely reported that Paul had chosen Fury to be his next opponent with YouTube show host Keemstar claiming that the fight would take place this summer. An announcement could now be imminent providing Fury opts to travel over to the US and take the bout which is planned for Madison Square Garden.

The YouTube star previously announced he would return for his sixth professional bout without a confirmed opponent. Several other leading names were understood to be in the running including retired UFC star Anderson Silva and boxing legend Mike Tyson.
However Paul previously hinted that he would rather take an "easy" fight with Fury before challenging the likes of Tyson and Silva. "There could be interest there," Paul admitted after Fury's Wembley victory in April. "It obviously was a mediocre performance, but what do you expect from a mediocre guy? He's better at talking than he is at fighting.
"I want to see the Anderson Silva fight and how he does, how he looks. There are other talks with Mike Tyson and other names under the table so really we're just looking for the best opportunity. For me, Tommy is an easy fight, so maybe I'll just run it up, get a quick knockout and then move on from there, But maybe not."
