Tommy Fury has claimed Jake Paul copied his prediction after he declared he would stop the American within four rounds on Sunday night.
The pair will settle their years-long feud on Sunday after two previous fights were cancelled, and Fury is confident he will be able to show off his superior skills honed over years around the sport. Paul is considerably less experienced, starting to box in early 2018 when the Brit was in the process of turning professional after a few years as an inactive amateur.
Fury and Paul began to feud in 2021 after Tommy's world heavyweight champion brother Tyson was tricked by a fake graphic into believing that the youngster had landed millions of viewers for his fight with Scott Williams. The heavyweight tagged Paul in a callout, and the pair began a rivalry that will finally be settled on Saturday.
" Jake Paul seems to have copied it a few weeks ago, but my prediction has always been that this fight won't go more than four rounds," Tommy told Mirror Fighting . "If it's done in one round, I won't be surprised. Any time I land clean on this man it will be over."
The Brit's last two attempts to face Paul were thwarted first by injury and then visa issues, but he has landed in Saudi Arabia with no issues as it appears that the bout is now going full steam ahead. "I'm interested in anything else but training, eating sleeping and repeating and then getting there on February 26 and knocking the guy out.
"Everything else, it doesn't matter to me, there's not one thing that matters in this world to me other than knocking Jake Paul out. I've been training for the past few months to do this and I'm happy that it's all over... I'm so ready to go, relaxed, calm, we're around the corner from the fight and everyone's going to be in for a great fight as long as it lasts."

Fury has declared that his fight camp was the "best of his career", which is standard for boxers during pre-fight interviews. However, in his case it rings true, with the birth of his first daughter in the middle of his preparations making for a period of time that he and his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague will never forget.
"Talking about what happened inside the boxing gym, the stuff that's happened there, I've never had as much sparring, quality sparring rounds after rounds, guys jumping in and out," Fury added. "Everything's gone to the letter, I'm in the best physical condition I ever could have been. The road work, strength and conditioning, the sparring, whatever you name it.
"I've even got George Lockhart downstairs who cooks for Conor McGregor and Tyson, the best in the world at what he does. I've cut no corners, taken everything very seriously and everything's done now. When you've left no stone unturned you're very confident in what you do and that's exactly what I am and everyone will see on February 26."
