Tommie Lee vs Natalie Nunn fight descends into farce on Floyd Mayweather undercard

Natalie Nunn stopped bitter rival Tommie Lee in a farcical exhibition on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s latest event.

Reality TV stars Nunn and Lee had already clashed at the fight week weigh-in and the events inside the ring started at a frantic pace. Nunn came out flying from the opening bell and landed a right hand straight on the button which rocked her rival.

Lee was on the back foot again after being tagged in a scrappy and farcical affair. In a baffling turn of events, Lee either fell to the floor or opted to lie down on the canvas during the break between the first and second round. The referee called off the event but appeared to then re-wave on the event to continue. After Nunn made a continued attempt at stopping her rival, he then stepped in to call a halt to a dangerous showdown.

But even then both fighters wanted to continue, and the referee appeared prepared to re-start the fight again only for the announcer to declare the fight over.

Nunn is a reality TV star whose rivalry with Lee sparked into life when the pair touched down in the UK. The winner featured on Celebrity Big Brother on 2018 and it remains to be seen if she will re-enter the squared circle after her ridiculous victory.

Meanwhile, Lee will be left embarrassed after promising to end their feud in positive fashion. The high-profile star carries over five million social media followers, but was left red-faced on her boxing debut.

The pair fought on the same card as boxing legend Mayweather who went on to face Aaron Chalmers in the main event at The O2 in London. Fans eventually filtered into the venue after thousands of seats were empty for the opening fights of the night.

Mayweather has been enjoying himself on his lucrative exhibition tour since hanging up his gloves following his 50th win over Conor McGregor in 2017. His latest venture saw him fight in the UK for the first time as he took on former Geordie Shore star Chalmers.
