Free agent Tom Rogic is in talks over a move to the Indonesian top flight, according to reports.
The 29-year-old left Celtic on a free transfer after a formidable season that saw him clinch the Premiership and named in the SPFL team of the season.
His exit at the end of the season came as a shock to many as he brought the curtain down on almost a decade at Parkhead.
However, his next step could also catch a few fans off guard with reports heavily linking him with a move to Persija Jakarta.
Several Indonesia outlets have stated that Rogic is in talks over a move to the Liga 1 side.
The club are looking to rebuild after a lacklustre eight-placed finish last term for the two-time Indonesian champions.
So far this summer they have added former Slavia Prague and Czech Republic cap Ondrej Kudela, with top flight clubs in Indonesia able to add up to four foreign players. One of those players must also be from Asia.
Jakarta boss Thomas Doll appears to have pinpointed Rogic as his top midfield target this summer.
But he was playing his cards close to his chest when asked about a potential move for the Australian, telling Today: "I can't talk about foreign players.
"This is not the right moment to talk about foreign players.
"Please be patient there will be a surprise and we will announce it."
