New Celtic signing Aaron Mooy says Australian national team pal Tom Rogic has helped sell him on moving to Scotland for a second time.
The experienced central midfielder had a spell at St Mirren earlier in his career but now reunites with former national team boss Ange Postecoglou at Parkhead. He's had Premier League experience at Brighton and Huddersfield in recent years and turned to Rogic for Celtic advice. The attacking midfielder left in May after nine trophy-laden years and Mooy says that he has been on hand with Premiership tips. That said, he wasn't sure if they'd come.
He told the Daily Record: "We have been messaging each other. I didn’t know if he would reply! He’s obviously fine. I just asked if he had any tips, as a joke. He said ‘you don’t need any, they are good boys and it is an easy dressing room to be comfortable in’. He knows I will enjoy it.

“Tom obviously had a very successful period. He should be very proud of his time here. Winning silverware is a big thing.
"It’s an attraction for sure. They’re competing all the time for trophies and last year was a very successful year for the club.
"I haven’t won many trophies in my career so hopefully I can be part of a successful team. Celtic was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
