The new boyfriend of Tom Parker 's widow of Kelsey was previously jailed for manslaughter after knocking over a man at a taxi rank in 2013.
Kelsey Parker is reported to have struck up a romance with tradesman Sean Boggans while on holiday, the Mirror reports. But, it remains unclear whether Kelsey knows that Sean, 39, was previously sentenced to four years behind bars after being convicted of manslaughter.
Kelsey's tragic pop star husband Tom sadly died of cancer eight months ago. And sources claim the Kelsey and Sean met this year on a holiday in Rhodes and have grown close - and appeared to be smitten as they attended the wedding of one of Sean's relatives.
However it has now been revealed the former estate agent knocked a man over following a bust-up over a taxi back in February 2013. He was jailed for four years later later the same year and convicted of the manslaughter of Shaun McDermott, who died aged 44.
Mr McDermott had been waiting for his girlfriend to pick him up outside of the Havering Oak pub on South Street, Romford when he was knocked to the ground by Boggans on February 3, 2013. He was found around 1.16am during a routine police patrol, before being taken to the nearby Queen's Hospital in Romford.
Shaun died at around 10am the same day with a post-mortem examination explaining his death was a result of a bleed on his brain caused by his head injuries. Mr McDermott had arranged to meet his girlfriend outside of the pub, while Sean Boggans had called a cab just 30 minutes prior to McDermott being discovered.
CCTV footage showed the dad-of-two walking away from the scene as well as him throwing just one punch at Shaun McDermott's face. Boggans was subsequently arrested two days after the initial attack following a string of enquiries by the Metropolitan Police.
Detective Chief Inspector John Sandlin previously said of the attack: "It was a wholly unnecessary, violent act which caused Shaun to sustain a fatal head injury."
Kelsey who recently admitted she was finding it "tough" being on her own after Tom's death is said to be in the early stages of a relationship with electrician Sean.
Speaking to the MailOnline, a source said: "It's very early days and no one knows what the future will bring. For now, Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life."
Meanwhile, a source went on to say that while at the wedding of Sean's relative, it's believed that the couple remained close to one another."
The Mirror has approached Kelsey Parker's representatives for comment.
