Tom Parker's wife Kelsey has shared the heartbreaking conversation that she has with their daughter every day following the singer's death in March. Talking to Lorraine Kelly, Kelsey said that her children's positivity keeps her going, three months after her husband passed away following his lengthy battle with cancer.
Kelsey, who now raises the pair's two children alone, told the presenter that she has been really "honest" about Tom's death. Lorraine mentioned a video clip that Kelsey released on Instagram in which Aurelia gets very excited when she saw Tom's book, a Sunday Times Best Seller, in a shop recently. Kelsey explained: "Whenever she sees her dad, she's like, 'that's my dad!'
Despite this, Kelsey said: "I've been really honest but [Aurelia] does still talk about him every day and she doesn't quite understand that he's not coming back." She describes how she has "to be really blunt about it" and tells her daughter that Tom is "dead and he's not coming back."

Lorraine praised Kelsey for her "pragmatic" approach to the treatment of her children. “We have little things around the house," Kelsey said, "she’ll see his wallet - ‘Oh that’s daddy’s wallet.’”
Referring to how her kids keep her going, Kelsey said: "They wake up happy, they wake up in a good mood so then I can't be sad. And he wouldn't want us to be sad and mourning.
"Don't get me wrong, I get my bad days, of course I do. At night it is lonely, I am lonely, but this is my life, I have to get on with it," she added.
Kelsey's appearance on Lorraine sparked reaction from social-media users, who praised her as "resilient" and "amazing." Tom Parker leaves behind her, his daughter Aurelia and son Bhodi.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and ITV Hub.
