Tom Parker 's beloved wife Kelsey shared the devastating news this evening that the singer passed away at the age of 33 following his gruelling cancer battle.
The Wanted singer was diagnosed with the inoperable brain tumour while wife Kelsey was pregnant with their second child in 2020.
Almost two years after his diagnosis, Tom lost his battle to glioblastoma on Wednesday .
Kelsey, who shares daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, 11 months, with the late singer, took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking announcement that her brave and beloved husband had sadly passed away.
The 32-year-old mum-of-two described Tom as the 'centre' of her family's world as she revealed that her heart was broken following his passing.
Tom's devastated wife shared a striking black-and-white photograph of the singer as she delivered the devastating announcement.
Another image saw Tom cradle his baby son while he and Kelsey shared a sweet moment with their daughter, Aurelia, during Tom's cancer battle.
Kelsey's heartbreaking statement began with the devastated wife revealing that Tom passed away with his loved-ones by his side.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side," she penned.
Kelsey said her heart is broken as she described the amazing father of her two children as 'the centre of her world'.
Tom's beloved wife also said she can't imagine life without his energetic soul and infectious smile as she looks ahead to a future without him by her side.
"Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence," she added.
Kelsey finished off her heartbreaking announcement by thanking Tom's family, friends, and fans for their love and support throughout his entire cancer battle.
"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end.
"I’m forever proud of you."
Tributes have poured in for The Wanted singer following the devastating news of his passing.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, who revealed in January that she had been treated for bowel cancer, said Parker was 'such a hero and an inspiration to me'.
The star wrote onTwitter: "He was so strong. Rest In Power Tom and thank you for everything you did."
Meanwhile, TV presenter Gaby Roslin said he was 'so brave and such a lovely man'.
Rylan Clark said it was 'absolutely gutting' news.
"He was such a good'un. So sad to hear. Sending my love to Kelsey and the kids," the former X Factor star wrote.
Tom bandmate Siva Kaneswaran wrote on Instagram: “Hey Tom, hope you’re having a blast up there.
“I am so grateful that I had a chance to witness your true courage. It has been a pleasure of my life Tommy Boy. Thank you for letting us see you light up the world. Talk to you soon and see you later. Love you brother x”
English actor and musician Martin Kemp has paid tribute to Tom, saying his “spirit will never be forgotten” following The Wanted star’s death at 33.
Kemp wrote in a tweet: “Tom Parker, rest in peace my love goes out to all your family and all your friends.. your bravery, your fight and your spirit will never be forgotten”.
Elsewhere, singer Joe McElderry shared his sympathies with Tom's grieving family.
The former X Factor singer tweeted: "So very very sad :( life can be cruel! My thoughts to his family and friends."
