Tom Parker's widow speaks on new love and says The Wanted star would be 'happy' for her

Tom Parker's widow Kelsey has spoken about finding love again after The Wanted frontman's tragic death.

Appearing on the third episode of her ITV docuseries Kelsey Parker: Life after Tom, she said her former husband would be "happy" that she has been able to find happiness with someone new.

The mum-of-two has started a new relationship with electrician Sean Boggans, whom she met in September this year. In Thursday's episode of the series, the 32-year-old met with elderly women in a local widows group, the Mirror reports.

While Kelsey said that there is never a "good age" to lose your spouse, she highlighted that he would want her to move on. However, Kelsey admitted that she is envious of women who get to spend their lives with their partners.

When asked if she believed Tom would be "happy" for her to settle down again, Kelsey replied said: "We didn't really have those conversations but, knowing Tom, I feel like he would be happy for me. He'd just want me to be happy and I'm so young."

"He would want you to live a full life," commented another widow.

Tom, 33, died last March, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. The singer's condition deteriorated, and he died from complications of glioblastoma.

Kelsey went on to say she was "jealous" of women who had spent as much as up to 60 years with their husband, having been with Tom for 13 years.

"There's never a good age to lose your partner, your best friend and the love of your life," Kelsey said.

It was recently reported that Kelsey had met up with Tom's mum, Noreen for a "heart to heart" about her new romance which came eight months after his death.

A source told The Sun : "Explaining the situation to Noreen was one of the hardest things to do because Kelsey’s not even sure how she feels about it all right now. It is all very new and her emotions are naturally all over the place."

The late singer's mother "understands" that his widow "needs to find a new future for herself," according to the source. They added the family will "support" her.

Kelsey is believed to have found comfort in electrician Sean Boggans earlier this year having met on holiday in Rhodes.

Speaking about the romance, a source told the MailOnline: "It's very early days and no one knows what the future will bring.

"For now, Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life."

Meanwhile, another source claimed that the couple "remained close to one another" as they attended the wedding of one of Sean's relatives.
