Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has admitted she’s bracing herself as the first anniversary of his death approaches.
The Wanted singer passed away aged 33 on March 30 following a 14-month battle with stage 4 glioblastoma.
In addition to Kelsey, whom he married in 2018, Tom also left behind their children Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two.
Speaking in a new interview with New magazine, the actress - who previously documented her grief in the ITV docu-series Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom - said she has found her “grief is so much bigger than I ever expected” and explained how she can feel a variety of emotions in the space of minutes.
While at the time of publication she told the publication that she was unsure how she would be marking the anniversay of Tom’s passing, she said she was “sure I’ll do something”.
When asked how her children were coping following the loss of their dad, she said; “They’re alright - they’re ok. It’s hard.”
Kelsey revealed that one thing that has been keeping their spirits high is watching Tom’s former The Wanted bandmate Siva Kaneswaran compete in Dancing On Ice.
“I saw him in the first week when he was on TV and the kids watched it, and I said, ‘There’s uncle Siv on the TV’,” she explained.
Kelsey also expressed her hope to take Aurelia to watch one of the episodes being film so they could cheer him on in person.
