Tom Parker's grieving widow Kelsey says 'The Wanted boys are always checking on me'

Tom Parker's widow Kelsey Parker revealed his bandmates from The Wanted 'are always checking' on her.

The singer tragically died at the age of 33 at the end of March following a difficult battle with inoperable grade 4 glioblastoma.

His fellow band members, which include Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes, attended his funeral and have been keeping in contact with Kelsey to see if she and the children are doing okay.

She shares children Aurelia Rose and Bodhi Thomas with the late singer.

"You know what, I’ve got so much love for The Wanted boys, they have been amazing through this. They all check in with me, they make sure I’m okay," she told OK! Magazine.

Kelsey also added she can always rely on the boys to support her no matter what.

She continued: “They’ve been a massive part of my life, and obviously Tom’s, since I was 19. They’ve been there for me.”

Kelsey has been very open with her heartbreaking journey on her life following the death of her husband.

Appearing on Lorraine earlier this month, Kelsey spoke proudly about Tom's book, which is now a Sunday Times bestseller.

Host Lorraine Kelly mentioned an adorable video clip which showed Aurelia getting very excited when she saw the book in a shop recently.

Smiling, Kelsey explained: "Whenever she sees her dad, she's like, 'that's my dad!'

"I've been really honest but she does still talk about him every day and she doesn't quite understand that he's not coming back.

"So I have to be really blunt to say, 'he's not coming back, that's it, he's dead and he's not coming back'.

"Because she doesn't really understand. Obviously where the book's out and she's seen him in store, she's a bit like, 'well he's been on tour so is he gonna come back from this?'

Kelsey continued: "So she's just really confused by it, but then we do talk about him every day. She does ask me every day about him and obviously we have little things around the house of Tom's, so she'll see like his wallet and be like, 'Oh that's daddy's wallet'."

Lorraine was taken aback by Kelsey's strength and commended her for being "so incredible".
