Tom Holland will star in a new TV series The Crowded Room on Apple TV.
The series is inspired the true story of Billy Milligan, who was the first person in US history that was acquitted of a major crime by pleading dissociative identity disorder. It is based on the non-fiction novel The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes, but won't follow the real-life events exactly.
Tom Holland will star as Danny Sullivan in the TV show, a man arrested for his involvement in a shooting in New York in 1979. Holland, best known for playing Spiderman, will feature alongside Amanda Seyfried as Rya Goodwin, the interrogator looking for answers from Sullivan, and Emmy Rossum as Candy Sullivan.

In the description for the show, Apple TV said: "A psychological thriller set in Manhatten in the summer of 1979, when a young man is arrested for a shocking crime - and an unlikely investigator must solve the mystery behind it."
So, it looks like a lot of the show will see Holland and Seyfried play opposite each other as she interrogates him about the crime that's been committed, and earlier this month Tom was spotted filming the show with wavy 70s hair and a vintage brown plaid button-up shirt, so fans can expect to see a lot of period-appropriate clothing and hairstyles.
The series will premier on Apple TV on June 9, 2023, with the first three episodes releasing together on the platform. From there, episodes will be released weekly until the final episode, episode 10, is released on July 28.
Other big names will star alongside Holland, including Jason Isaacs as Jack Lamb, Will Chase as Marlin Reid, Sasha Lane as Ariana, Zachary Golinger as Young Danny Sullivan, Christopher Abbott as Stan, Emma Laird as Isabel, Lior Raz as Yitzhak, Henry Eikenberry as Doug, Henry Zaga as Philip, and Thomas Sadoski as Matty Dunn.
There is not currently a trailer for the show.
