Hollywood actor Tom Hanks is visiting Dublin next month to star at the Dalkey Book Festival.
The two-time Oscar winner will address the event on June 16 to discuss his debut novel 'The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece' and his path from film to fiction. The book is set to be released next week and each ticket holder will receive a free copy.
The annual festival, which has been running in 2010, will also feature Bono and Fintan O'Toole. The Dubliners will sit down together to talk about their very different but overlapping memoirs, 'Surrender' and 'We Don’t Know Ourselves'.
