Rangers will reportedly have to buy Everton star Tom Davies if they want the Englishman secured this month.
The 24-year-old is a reported target of Michael Beale's men as he looks to bolster an Ibrox squad that saw seven new summer recruits, all with varying degrees of success so far in Glasgow. Rangers are also keen on Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell but Davies emerged as a potential coup but seems to be out of favour at Goodison Park.
Yet now, according to Sky Sports News, Frank Lampard's men would only be willing to sell the 24-year-old in this window rather than facilitating a loan deal.

Reporter Rob Dorsett said on Sky's blog: “They want to sell fringe players rather than loan them [Everton].
“Tom Davies – again, Everton would be prepared to sell him. He’s only got six months left on his current deal, but they want money; they want cash – no point in giving him a loan deal.”
Beale previously stated he would be looking to bring in 'one or two' recruits and likened Davies to current Ibrox star John Lundstram. He said: "Tom Davies, he used to kick my Liverpool Under-23s team all around the place. There's a bit of John Lundstram about him. I'm not confirming anything with those two. But there's a lot of players we are speaking to at the moment."
