Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's son Connor shares rare snap as he enjoys a game of golf

Connor Cruise broke his Instagram hiatus to share a snap of himself enjoying a game of golf.

The son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman hadn't posted on the social media platform in almost a year but decided to share his love of the sport with his followers.

The image of the 28-year-old saw him standing on the green at the Pelican Golf Club in Florida wearing the typical golf outfit of a blue hooped polo shirt and light blue shorts. He completed his look with a white baseball cap, solitary white glove and a pair of crisp white trainers.

Shade-wearing Connor stuck up his thumb for the camera and fans were quick to ask which of the pair was victorious on the championship golf course.

His last post was uploaded in August last year when he shared a clip of a fishing trip.

Prior to that, the DJ had tended to share images of himself either fishing or grilling products on his grid. Every now and then he would throw in a pic from his childhood alongside sister Bella Cruise, who is now 30.

Both Connor and artist Bella actively keep themselves away from the spotlight that is so focused on their famous parents.

The duo are the only kid's Tom and Nicole share. The Hollywood stars tied the knot in 1990 but went their separate ways after their divorce in 2001.

Tom also has daughter Suri Cruise, 17 with his third wife and now ex, Katie Holmes, while Nicole shares two daughters - Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 14, and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, 12, with current hubby Keith Urban.

Nicole teased she could be in attendance at this year's Met Gala as she shared a clip of Anna Wintour talking through Karl Lagerfeld's best designs for Chanel to have featured in Vogue.

This year's standout evening on the fashion calendar sees celebs pay tribute to the late iconic designer after his death in 2019.

Kim Kardashian has also offered fans a sneak peek into her eagerly awaited gown, but the darling of the Met Gala Blake Lively sadly ruled out attending the event earlier in the week.

Instead, she plans to watch it from the comfort of her own home.
