'We’re just looking' - Sheffield Wednesday Tom Cannon transfer stance emerges amid Everton links
Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore has appeared to shut down speculation linking his side with a move for Tom Cannon next month.
The Everton youngster, who impressed in his first season as a fully-fledged under-23 player in 2021/22, scoring eight goals in 23 appearances to finish as the team's leading marksman, has been linked with a loan move away from Goodison Park next month.

The Republic of Ireland youth international, after impressing for Paul Tait’s side, was then handed his first-team debut during the Carabao Cup defeat to Bournemouth last month when he replaced Neal Maupay with nine minutes remaining.
The forward then made his Premier League debut just five days later against the same opposition in the same stadium, though once again it came on a difficult day for the Blues as they were beaten 3-0 by the Cherries.
In between his first appearances for the first-team, Cannon also bagged a brace as Tait’s side came from behind to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Premier League International Cup before he was selected for the club’s trip to Australia.

Everton ‘sound out’ Rodrigo Becao and Ismaila Sarr double deal with Pozzo family
Everton have enquired about the possible acquisition of Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao, according to a new report.
The Brazilian was linked with a move to Goodison Park in the summer, but with Jarrad Branthwaite now set to stay on loan with PSV Eindhoven until the end of the season, Il Messaggero claims (via TuttoMercatoWeb ) that the Blues have ‘sounded out’ Becao in the ‘last few hours’.
Il Messaggero also reports that Everton have been talking to the Pozzo family - who own both Udinese and Watford - about a possible deal for wantaway striker Ismaila Sarr.
The Senegalese is seeking a swift return to the Premier League and is expected to cost interested parties around £35million.
