Tom Brady’s Narration of Ohio State-Michigan Hype Video Is Best Thing You’ll See Today

“The Game” between Michigan and Ohio State is one of the most heated rivalries in college football each year.

On Saturday, when the two teams renewed acquaintances for a ticket to the Big Ten championship game and to remain in contention for the College Football Playoff, things were no different.

However, before the battle in the trenches began at the Big House on Saturday, Fox Sports released a hype video using former Wolverines quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady to describe the hatred and hostility between two archrivals separated by 190 miles.

It’s worth the watch.

“Every November the Big Ten braces for a meeting of football royalty, a big game played with a bigger grudge,” Brady said in the video. “Two states, two schools … their stories, their histories align forever. … A blood oath … scarlet and grey… and maize and blue … it’s always there, looming, motivated, waiting.”

Both Michigan and Ohio State entered Saturday’s game 11–0 overall and 8–0 in Big Ten play. The winner will meet Iowa (10–2, 7–2) in the conference championship game at Indianapolis next Saturday.

Brady spent five years at Michigan, and the Wolverines went 4-1 against Ohio State in those games. In games with Brady on the field, Michigan went 1-1 against the Buckeyes, losing in his junior campaign in ’98 but winning during his senior campaign in ’99.
