FOX is paying Tom Brady $375,000,000 over ten years for a reason. So, someone out there seems to think that he’s a good NFL Analyst/Color Commentator.
However, someone doesn’t seem to be expressing this opinion on social media. Tom Brady was a top trending term on X, formerly Twitter, today for all the wrong reasons.
Many people who watched today’s FOX Game of the Week, in which the Baltimore Ravens held on to beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-25, were not fans of Brady’s work.
I know Tom Brady is not boring when he talks about football. But he is insanely boring on these broadcasts.

And there are plenty of other postings on Twitter in this vein
Idk how to explain this but you can actually hear Tom Brady’s brain think as he forms words on air

I think I’d rather see Tom Brady go to the Dolphins than hear him in the booth. He is awful.

This was certainly one of the more clever responses:
Tom Brady is definitely one of the NFL announcers of all time

Whether you like or dislike Brady’s work, or even if you don’t have strong opinions on it, there was one aspect of it that pretty much all viewers could agree on.
He loved relating what was happening on the field today to his own past experiences as much as possible.
Is it just me or has Tom Brady made this entire Ravens-Cowboys game about himself

Tom Brady saying he remembers how much those QB hits used to hurt is interesting considering it used to be a penalty if you breathed on him.

Someone tell Tom Brady we don’t need a recap of his Super Bowl against the falcons .

Of course, this is why they hire former players- relaying anecdotes from their playing days is literally part of the job description.
Brady may have just taken it a little too far today.
