Tom Brady announced his retirement from football on Feb. 1, seemingly calling it a career after 22 seasons. But a month and a half later, he decided he wasn’t quite ready to hang up his cleats.
After watching Aaron Donald’s workout videos, he might be second-guessing that decision to return.
During an interview on the Dan Patrick Show this week, Brady joked that after watching Donald work out on Instagram, maybe he should’ve stayed retired “because he’s a beast.”
“I see Aaron Donald work out on Instagram and I’m like, ‘Damn, maybe I should’ve stayed retired because he’s a beast,” Brady said.
Can't blame @TomBrady. 😅

Brady will get to see Donald and the Rams again this year, their fifth meeting since Super Bowl LIII in 2019. Brady has been sacked eight times in his last four games against the Rams, so they’ve been a thorn in his side.
The Rams and Bucs will square off in Tampa Bay in Week 9, a Sunday afternoon game on Nov. 6.
