There was a time this off-season when it seemed like everything was lining up for Tom Brady to join the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders had moved on from Derek Carr and already had his former offensive coordinator in place in Josh McDaniels.
But then, Brady decided to retire (again) and that forced the Raiders to his former backup; Jimmy Garoppolo. However, it seems like Brady really might join the Raiders this season.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Brady is in serious talks with Mark Davis about becoming a limited partner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Before you ask, this doesn’t mean Brady wants to play for the Raiders. But it might put him in a front-office role where he could eventually become the president of a franchise, much like John Elway in Denver.
There are still a lot of moving parts to this story, but we will be sure to update it whenever more information becomes available.
